Rag Wreath!

I really love rag projects right now. For a couple of months my mom has been complaining about how she wants a new wreath. So, about a month ago, I came across a 4th of July wreath. Made from rags! But we didn't have any patriotic rags . . .

So off to Joann Crafts we went.

We got the biggest foam wreath they had which wasn't very big. Mom picked out three different types of material. Personally, I would've gotten more, but material isn't cheap. :(

There was 1/2 a yard each type of fabric. I cut the strips 10 inches long. The site said to do 14 so if you want a more full wreath, do that. I didn't take long at all to complete this project.

Basically that's the end. Just tie each strip twice and go all around. I pushed the strips close together to make it look more full. It didn't have any wire to make a hanger for the back so I used an extra strip of fabric and pinned it on.

Midnight was wore out from all the hard work.

Happy Crafting! :)
